It’s here. It’s FINALLY here! After a 12 year wait, the Jackass crew is back at it again. Our favorite group of pranksters have a new movie releasing February 4th, titled Jackass Forever. To celebrate the reunion, we decided to highlight some of the most memorable scenes from Jackass: The Movie, Jackass Number Two, and Jackass 3D. These films provided laughs for an entire generation, and we can’t wait to see what they do next!
** “Warning: The following movies feature stunts performed either by professionals or under the supervision of professionals. Accordingly, MTV and the producers must insist that no one attempt to recreate or re-enact any stunt or activity performed in these movies.” **
Rent-A-Car Demolition Derby from Jackass: The Movie (2002) (Rated R)
It’s the first scene from the first movie, and it truly sets the tone for the entire series. Johnny Knoxville rents a car, enters it in a demo derby, and tries to return it. As you can imagine, the owner of the car rental company wasn’t thrilled. But at least Knoxville thoughtfully brought the car back with “a full tank of gas!”
Bad Grandpa from Jackass Number Two (2006) (Rated R)
There are several scenes where Knoxville and other cast members dress up as old people, but the Bad Grandpa scene from the second movie is legendary. Knoxville plays a foul-mouthed senior citizen that teaches his grandson poor behavior and almost gets into a bar fight… This isn’t the last time we saw this epic character. In fact, this segment inspired an entire movie plot: Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa (2013).
Valentine’s Day Card from Jackass Number Two (2006) (Rated R)
This hilarious scene is the second clip from the highly anticipated sequel. There’s a fake love letter posted on the crew’s hotel door. Behind the letter is a spring-loaded boxing glove that busts through the door, punching readers in the face. Bam Margera, Steve-O, Ryan Dunn, and Jason “Wee Man” Acuna all fall victim to this prank (which somehow gets funnier each time).
The Alligator from Jackass: The Movie (2002) (Rated R)
Much of the Jackass movie series is based on Bam Margera torturing his parents with outrageous tricks. That’s exactly what he does to his poor mom in The Alligator scene. April Margera comes home and sees a real, live alligator in her kitchen. There’s not much to this clip, but April’s very genuine fear makes it laugh out loud funny.
Gone Fishin’ from Jackass Number Two (2006) (Rated R)
The gang goes on a fishing trip! What’s the catch? One lucky member gets to be the bait… Steve-O not only puts a giant fishing hook through his own cheek, but he jumps out of the boat into shark-infested water. You wanted unforgettable scenes? This one will forever be engraved in our minds.
The Bungee Boogie from Jackass 3D (2010) (Rated R)
This scene really brought us back to what Jackass is all about: doing stupid stuff with your best friends! The crew sets up a runway that leads to a ramp. They slingshot themselves down the runway with a huge bungee while wearing rolling skates and riding skateboards. The ramp shoots them into an inflatable pool. As you can probably tell, there are plenty of great spills and even better laughs in this ridiculous clip from Jackass 3D.
The Jet Engine from Jackass 3D (2010) (Rated R)
The Jet Engine is another classic from the third movie. Basically, the crew wants to test the strength of a jet engine. The force from the jet is so strong that Dunn can’t even stand behind it without blowing over. Then they get the genius idea to catch footballs that are propelled by the engine. The footballs travel like missiles! One of the crew members even jumps into the force of the jet in a flying squirrel wingsuit, which sent them several feet into the air. Unreal.
Golf Course Air Horn from Jackass: The Movie (2002) (Rated R)
Hiding out in the woods, the guys try their best to ruin a group of golfers’ day by blowing an air horn every time they take a swing. The golfers become so pissed that they start launching balls into the woods hoping to hit the crew (as if that’s going to stop the members of Jackass, LOL). This scene is classic Jackass because it’s simple, but the reaction is so authentic.
Golf Carts from Jackass: The Movie (2002) (Rated R)
This segment is absolute mayhem and that’s why we LOVE it. The gang turns their golf carts into bumper cars. They crash into each other, jump the carts over sand pits, and destroy a mini-golf course. Knoxville crashes so hard that he’s knocked out. But when he wakes up, he’s all laughs. These guys are truly insane.
Anaconda Ball Pit from Jackass Number Two (2006) (Rated R)
The Anaconda Ball Pit is not only one of the scariest stunts, but also one of the bloodiest. Knoxville, Dunn, and Acuna try to capture an anaconda in a ball pit. Knoxville gets it the worst, as he’s bitten multiple times, while Dunn is being wrapped up by the coils of the massive reptile. Blood pours from Knoxville’s arms as they finally get the snake out of the pit. But when they see that the plastic balls are still moving, they realize there’s a second anaconda waiting for them. EEK. No thanks…
Department Store Boxing from Jackass: The Movie (2002) (Rated R)
A boxing match in the middle of a department store. What could go wrong? Knoxville goes head to head with professional boxer, Butterbean. The reactions of the clerks and customers are priceless, but the best part is when Knoxville regains consciousness after the knockout punch. “Is Butterbean okay?”
Firehose Rodeo from Jackass Number Two (2006) (Rated R)
This one is seriously creative. A firehose dangles from a crane and Dave England is hanging onto the hose. The force of the water whips the hose back and forth, mimicking the motions of a bull! The entire crew is laughing so hard that it hurts. England holds on as long as he can, but eventually, he takes a nosedive into the mud. You didn’t think he was going to come out unscathed, did you???
